June 6, we have Larry Bloomfield’s “Taste of NAB” scheduled, but we have no location as of yet.

Will Ellis (area Sales Director) and Derek Underwood (Senior Systems Engineer) from Motorola will be at the Tulsa Chapter 56 SBE meeting on Tuesday October 24, 2006 to give a presentation on their wireless Ethernet bridge equipment for broadcast use. Our July meeting will be hosted by Media-Specialists with presentations on XDHDCAM, optical media, HD monitors and the Anycast Station by Sony.

The meeting will be MOVED to Dresser Mansion, 235 West Eighteenth Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74119.

James Lien, Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Pixel Power Inc., sponsored by EVS, Electronic Video Systems, will present a paper on how in-program graphics are expanding in their utilization and sophistication as broadcasters recognize that they can affect viewership and demographics. However, typical budgets dictate that per-instance production techniques strain operational resources.

The May meeting will be Tuesday, May 30th at the Clear Channel Events Center, 2625 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa. Join us for Larry Bloomfield’s “Taste of NAB”. We will begin at 6:30pm with dinner provided by Digital Resources. As always, there will be door prizes! You could be a winner!!
