This Wednesday, December 3, at 1 p.m., the Tulsa BAS 2 GHz market will make the shift to the new 12 MHz channel band plan.
Each 2 GHz user chose a “home” channel to base it’s operations on.
It was suggested at the last users meeting that after a couple of months of operating under the new band plan, that the users may want to revisit the usage procedures.
The Chapter’s checking account balance as of August 26, 2008, was $4,026.45. There has been one credit of $100.00 for a Sustaining Membership for Media Specialists and one debit of $50.00 paid to Larry Miller for purchasing a QuickTrip Purchase Card. The card was for the Chapter’s Spaghetti Warehouse waitress who has served us well throughout the year.

George Danner of Sprint, says that OKC is not ready to make the changeover to the new 2 GHz band plan. KFOR is close to being ready, but another OKC station is having trouble with their new MRC equipment and is not able to get a loaner during the equipment’s repair by MRC.
Gerald Weaver, KOTV, has said twice that he does not want to make the changeover until OKC is ready. Therefore, Tulsa is on hold for the time being.
The Chapter’s checking account balance as of July 22, 2008, was $3,500.65.
There have been two credits totaling $525.80. A 2007 rebate of $425.80 from the national SBE and $100.00 for a Sustaining Membership from Gotcher Tower Service. There have been no debits.
