David Shaffer called the meeting to order and asked everyone to introduce themselves.


Approval of Meeting Minutes:
Approval of Minutes as posted on the Chapter 56 website was called for, motion was requested, motion was made and
approved by voice vote.

Treasurers Report:
The Chapter's checking account balance as of January 21, 2010 was $ 3,672.74. There have been no credits or debits
since then. The Chapter's checking account balance as of February 16, 2010 was $ 3,672.74.

Secretary’s Report:
Nothing to report.

Frequency Coordination above 1 GHz:
Nothing to report.

Frequency Coordination below 1 GHz:
June 12, 2010 is the deadline for use of 698MHZ to 806MHZ wireless transmitters. Many manufactures are offering incentives for rebates on those frequency transmitters.

EAS Report:
Reported by Roger Herring reported that the test on Feb. 9, 2010 failed. It was rescheduled for February 10, 2010.

Certification Report:
Jim Hobbs reported that 1 test was administered in Tulsa.
April 13, 2010 for NAB Convention Certification Deadline is March 26, 2010.
June 4-14, 2010 for Local Chapters Deadline is April 16, 2010.
August 6-16, 2010 for Local Chapters Deadline is June 4, 2010.
November 5-15, 2010 for Local Chapters Deadline is September 17, 2010.

Website Report:

Old Business:
The Chapter is looking for someone to be the new House Chairman for meetings. Anyone interested in serving to please
contact David Schaffer or any Officer.

New Business:
the Marcdh meeting will be held on March 18, 2010 at the OAB/SBE Breakfast at 8am at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in Oklahoma
City. Free registration is suggested for attendance to the convention. See the website www.sbe56.org for moredetails.
