Approval of Minutes as posted on the Chapter 56 website was called for by Vice Chairman Ray Klotz, motion was requested, motion was made and seconded and approved by voice vote.

EAS Report:
No Tuesday Aug. 4 testing activaction and was rescheduled for Aug. 15 with success.

November 6 - 19, 2009 for Local Chapters Application Deadline is September 18, 2009

Website Report:
SBE56 received an Award from SBE National for the 2008/2009 Highest Member Attendance by Percentage.
TCC has posted an opening for a Broadcast Studio Engineer position on the SBE56 website.

Engineering Conference Committee Report:
Vice Chairman Ray Klotz reported that a tentative date of Thursday Oct.22. Tentative location is the KJRH Studios at this time lunch has not been decided upon but the Event will be all day. Conference is designed to be informative and educational for the Radio and TV Broadcaster. Presentations and training to be provide by primarily local presenters. Marketing will be primarily Email and Website promotions. This local conference may lead to a larger National SBE Ennes Workshop next year depending upon the success. A motion was put to the floor to continue moving ahead with this Engineering Conference. The motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.

New Business:
Chapter Chairman Bill Lee proposed that the October meeting be held at the Engineering Conference on tentative Oct. 22 also that the November meeting be moved to the first week of December. Motion was made and seconded and approved by voice vote.

Program:
Ron Hamilton with EVS introduced Gene Steiner the New Regional Sales Manager based in Tulsa, OK. Ron then introduced the program sponsored by EVS. Burt Young and Dan Sessler of Harris Corporation spoke about Mobile Handheld TV and the new Harris Maxiva Transmitter.
