Approval of Minutes as posted on the Chapter 56 website was called for by Bill Lee, motion was requested, motion was made and seconded and approved by voice vote.
Treasurers Report:
Dale Vennes reported the following: The Chapter’s checking account balance as of July 26,2009, was $4232.09. There have been no credits or debits at this time.

EAS Report:
Roger Herring reported a reminder that Amber Alert tests are still cancelled till further notice.
Certification Report:

November 6 - 19, 2009 for Local Chapters Application Deadline is September 18, 2009
Old Business:
Ron Sterns reported on the location for Monthly meetings, Motion was made and seconded on that Golden Corral will continue to be location for Monthly meetings.
New Business:
Dale Vennes reported on the progress of the SBE56 Tulsa Engineering Conference Committee.
Should we charge for the event?
Any members willing to provide a presentation should contact the commitee.
Explained how the commitee chose a Single Day scaled down event with focus on Education for the Tulsa Chapter using email promotions.
Still looking for a possible location for conference.
