Chapter Chairman Roger Newton called the meeting to order and asked everyone to introduce themselves.
Approval of Meeting Minutes:
Approval of Minutes as read by Ron Stearnes was requested, motion was made and seconded and approved by voice vote.
Treasurers Report:
Larry Miller reported the following: The Chapter’s checking account balance as of March 24, 2009, was $3686.29. There have been no credits or debits. The Chapter’s checking account balance as of today, April 16, 2009 is $3686.29.
Secretary’s Report:
Minutes posted late and were read instead.
Frequency Coordination above 1 GHz:
Larry Miller reported that Tulsa area 2 GHz User Group met last month and adopted a channel usage plan that included a secondary “home channel” for each TV 2GHz user.

EAS Report:
Roger Herring reported the RMT on April 7 was issued as an Amber Alert. RMT will not be retransmitted this month and is to be logged as a failure. Amber Alert tests have been cancelled until further notice due to legality with the FCC.
Program Committee:
David Shaffer announced that the Taste of NAB will be held on June 16th at KGEB Studio, ORU.
Certification Report:
Ray Klotz reported the following exam dates for certification:

Old Business:
Golden Corral at 21st and Memorial was put forth as a possible meeting place. Motion was made to meet in May at the Golden Corral. Motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
New Business:

David Shaffer reported the results from the election committee for the nominees of officers for 2009 before the group.

Nominations were open to the floor. There were none and a motion was made to Elect Nominees as stated. Motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
David Shaffer also recognized the Past Officers and Thanked them for their work.
